Info
The Western Interceltic Festival, held in Tapia during the first fortnight of August, is one of the musical events of the Asturian summer on the coast. In addition to the natural charm of the town of Tapia and its excellent summer atmosphere, this event adds an extra touch of culture and entertainment that makes it one of the major events of this time of year in Asturias.
An important line-up of folk music groups, both from home and abroad, as well as bagpipe bands and other activities related to Celtic culture, flood the Tapiego summer with festivities and fun moments. All of this with the added ingredient of a medieval market and a town that is fully committed to its festival. And also, with the Cantabrian Sea offering its winds and foam so that everything runs like silk.
