Apple Festival. Villaviciosa
The Villaviciosa Apple Festival is a tribute to this tasty and mythical fruit and a magnificent staging of all the activities directly related to this genuinely Asturian product, which is so excellently and abundantly produced in the Villaviciosa area.
Among the activities on offer in the programme are: apple and cider tastings with designation of origin, show cooking, cider pouring competition, musical performances, apple exhibition, the blessing of the first must and an offering to the Virgen del Portal, patron saint of Villaviciosa. There will also be an autumn market, an apple tourist train and activities for children.
This event has been declared a Festival of Tourist Interest of the Principality of Asturias.
