The sheepfold of Espineres, in the foothills of the Sierra del Sueve, hosts the Asturcón Festival, one of the most unique events in Asturias, which celebrates the recovery of this native breed, the horse of the Asturians, hardy, hardy and wild, which was almost extinct and has been recovered.

Among the different activities that take place on this day, one of the most outstanding is the attempt at taming some specimens and the display of domesticated specimens, ridden by horsemen or pulling ancient "xarrés" or carriages.

This event has been declared a Festival of National Tourist Interest.
