Event declared a Festival of Tourist Interest of the Principality of Asturias.

Every year, the town of Trasona/Tresona hosts the Foguera de San Xuan on the night of 23rd to 24th June.

More than twenty-five years old, this bonfire represents the popular tradition linked to the Celtic Beltaine. It combines mythology, belief, rites of passage and a deep connection with the creative cultures of the Atlantic Arc.

As part of this event, other cultural activities take place, such as the traditional bowering of the fountains, folk music performances, workshops and seminars on mythology, ethnographic conferences and a great atmosphere of Celtic and Asturian culture.
