The Sanctuary of Cébrano, in Carrea, hosts the pilgrimage of Our Lady of Cébrano, patron saint of Teverga, which is the most popular festival in the council.
Thousands of people pass through the sanctuary to pay tribute to the Virgin and take part in a celebration that is as deeply rooted as few others in the area.
The festivity is centred on a typical Asturian pilgrimage with a solemn mass at midday during which the bouquets that the locals make in honour of their patron saint are blessed.
The offering of these bouquets is accompanied by ancient music and romances. These works will be auctioned at the end of the liturgy among the devotees of the Virgin and the money raised will go entirely to the Tevergano sanctuary.
