First Degree Flower

First Degree Flower
Event declared a Festival of Tourist Interest of the Principality of Asturias.

Grau/Grado hosts one of the most emblematic markets in the town, which has been held for decades. It is the first commercial fair of the year that marks the beginning of spring, which is the reason for the name of the First Flower.

At first it was dedicated to the sale of hams, which became famous throughout the region, but with the passing of time this thematic character of the First Flower Fair has been lost, with the sale of other, more varied merchandise.
