Parade of floats in Valdesoto. Siero

Valdesoto hosts the Parade of floats, a traditional procession that dates back to 1950 when a group of locals decided to go to the festival with some floats decorated with traditional costumbrista representations.

From then on, year after year, ingenuity, imagination and art came together to represent on a float the most colourful images of Asturian folklore, mythology, peasant life, seafaring, mining, picaresque and popular humour.

In addition to the parade, the festival includes a verbena, folkloric dances, members' day, children's day and many other attractive activities.
