Güevos Pintos Festival. Siero

From early in the morning, the most historic and central area of La Pola Siero is filled with stalls decorated for the occasion where you can see and buy Güevos Pintos, with a wide variety of decorations and sizes, although most of them include in their artistic design motifs that allude to traditional Asturian culture. This event is always held on the Tuesday following Easter Sunday.

The tradition of the 'Güevos Pintos' is of uncertain origin and dates back several centuries. In Siero, in particular, it has been passed down orally from generation to generation.
