The town of L'Arena in Soto del Barco is hosting a new edition of the Gastronomic Festival of the elver, the only festival in Asturias dedicated to this seafood product, which seeks to promote tourism during the winter months and to publicise the typical products of the area.
This event has been declared a Festival of Tourist Interest in the Principality of Asturias.
