- Days Days: 1st fortnight in August
- Email Email: animanavia@gmail.com
- Type Type: Traditional Market
A theme-based market which revives poets
Info
Last year's San Roque Traditional Market was devoted to the poet Ramón de Campoamor and his time. Accordingly, the clothes, decoration, characters and music were those of an attractive, romantic time. Ramón de Campoamor Park hosts the Asturias of Bygone Days Exhibition, displaying the customs, crafts, costumes and, in general, all that Asturias was at that time. In the surroundings of the market, there is a popular open-air dance every day, so that you can dance holding your partner close like in the old days.
Music, concerts and local figures provided daily entertainment in this scenario in which Ramón de Campoamor was accompanied by the typical characters of his time and place.
There is also an area for crafts, food and novelties.
