Cobijeru / Las Acacias Beach

The sea reaches the shore about 100 metres from this unusual beach

It is an inland beach, without direct access to the sea. It consists of white sand and seawater, although the Cantabrian Sea reaches the shore about 100 metres away and only makes its way here under the cliffs.

Semi-circular in shape, it is about 30 metres long and is located below meadowland. Its waters have a depth of only one metre. Along with a nearby cave, it has been declared a Natural Monument. It can only be reached on foot. You have to leave the car in a lane, next to the railway line/tracks near Buelna. The last 350 metres are cross country.
