The sea laps at about a hundred metres from this original beach.
This is an inland beach, with no direct access to the sea. It is made up of white sand, but the Bay of Biscay laps at about a hundred metres and only comes out from under the cliffs.
Semicircular in shape, it is about thirty metres long and lies at the bottom of some meadows. Its waters are barely a metre deep.
It can only be reached on foot. The car can be left in the village of Buelna and from there it is a fifteen minute walk to the beach.
If you travel with your pet you should know that...
- The access and presence of domestic animals on the beach is prohibited.
- In the case of abandoned animals wandering on the beaches, their owners will be responsible for them.
- Those who violate the prohibitions, or do not comply with the conditions set out above, must immediately leave the beach with the animal, at the verbal request of the Authority Agents or Rescue personnel, who will issue a report in order to investigate the appropriate disciplinary proceedings.
