Info
Its name describes the rocks pierced by the sea that form it.
At the mouth of the Nueva river, there is a beach dotted with huge rock formations perforated by the sea, revealing caves and tunnels. It is a karst landscape of great beauty.
Cuevas de Mar is a very touristy beach with a high level of occupation. It is easily accessible via the road from Nueva. Made up of white sand, it has moderate waves, although it is not dangerous for bathing.
It has a large car park and good facilities.

- The access and presence of pets on the beach is prohibited from 01/06 to 30/09.
- In the case of abandoned animals wandering on the beaches, their owners will be responsible for them.
- Those who violate the prohibitions, or do not comply with the conditions set out above, must immediately leave the beach with the animal, at the verbal request of the Authority Agents or Rescue personnel, who will issue a report in order to investigate the appropriate disciplinary proceedings.
