Cuevas del Mar Beach

Its name describes the rocks pierced by the sea that form it

At the mouth of the River Cuevas, there is a beach dotted with huge rock formations pierced by the sea that reveal caves and tunnels. It is a karst landscape of great beauty.

Cuevas de Mar is a very crowded, touristy beach near Llanes. It is a triangular-shaped pebble and white sand beach with a moderate swell, although bathing is not dangerous here. It has ample parking, good amenities and a recreation area.
