The regeneration of the village beach
L’Arbeyal beach lay disused for years, in a state of disrepair and overshadowed by the local industry and the popular neighbourhoods of El Natahoyo and La Calzada. In 1995, it was reopened for swimming following a major regeneration project.
Today, it is a golden sandy beach, around 400 metres long and lapped by calm waters. It attracts large numbers of visitors and offers excellent facilities. A venue for many sporting events, beach volleyball and water sports such as sea kayaking are regularly practised there.
Sporting activities on the sand are prohibited between 10.00 and 20.00. Surfboards, jet skis, motorboats and sailing boats, etc., are prohibited in the bathing area.

From 1 May to 15 October
- 1 to 21 May: weekends and public holidays from 11.30 am to 7.00 pm
- 22 to 31 May: daily from 11.30 am to 7.00 pm
- 1 June to 15 September: daily from 12:00 to 20:00
- 16 September to 15 October: daily from 11.30 am to 7.00 pm
