Figueras Beach and San Román Beach

Two "sister" beaches in the shadow of mighty cliffs

Figueras Beach and San Román Beach are two beautiful coves formed by gravel and golden sand with calm waters, located in the borough of Castropol. The former is easily accessible on foot and serves as a gateway to the latter, which can only be reached at low tide.

Surrounded by mighty cliffs, they are quiet, uncrowded beaches, both located in a very beautiful setting of high scenic interest, as they form part of the Eo Estuary Partial Nature Reserve. They have hardly any amenities.

It forms part of the Oscos-Eo Biosphere Reserve.
