A secluded spot at the foot of sheer cliffs
It is a secluded and, therefore, peaceful spot, set amidst a landscape of great beauty, dotted with sheer cliffs not suitable for those who suffer from vertigo.
Las Llanas is a beach of sand, gravel and boulders, subject to strong waves, with a western section accessible only at low tide. You can drive to the car park at the top, but the descent to the beach can only be made on foot.
Classified as a Special Protection Area for Birds (SPA) and a Site of Community Importance (SCI).

If you travel with your pet you should know that...
- Animals are prohibited from entering or being present on the beach from 1 May to 30 September.
- On promenades and in urban areas near beach access points, pets are permitted provided they are kept on a fixed lead no longer than one metre; where necessary due to the animal’s characteristics, they must wear a muzzle.
