The televised beach of Doctor Mateo
Surrounded by cliffs, made up of gravel, sand and pebbles, Lastres beach is a 300-metre cove that bathes the tourist town of the same name, whose fishing port is one of the most typical and beautiful on the Asturian coast.
Located at the entrance to the town, it is also known by the name of Playa L'Estilleru, as ships of different tonnages were built here for centuries. It is one of the most popular beaches in Asturias: numerous scenes from the series Doctor Mateo were filmed here.
