A more secluded bathing spot in the capital of Llanes
Puertu Chicu is a small cove nestled within the town centre of Llanes and less busy than El Sablón, its most popular sandy area. It is 150 metres long, with white sand and pebbles, which almost disappear at high tide. It is located at the end of the San Antón promenade, a passing place for those who decide to take a stroll to Toró.
It has all the classic services of an urban beach, with good facilities and easy access.
If you travel with your pet you should know that...
- The access and presence of pets on the beach is prohibited from 01/06 to 30/09.
- In the case of abandoned animals wandering on the beaches, their owners will be responsible for them.
- Those who violate the prohibitions, or do not comply with the conditions set out above, must immediately leave the beach with the animal, at the verbal request of the Authority Agents or Rescue personnel, who will issue a report in order to investigate the appropriate disciplinary proceedings.
