Aguilar Beach, San Esteban with its saltwater pools, riverside path and elegant villas, the coastal path, the Chapel of the Holy Spirit... Sea and river views. That's Muros de Nalón.

Small, yet rich in resources. That's Muros de Nalón. Overlooking the sea , it boasts many views of unexpected beauty from along the coastal path, from the Chapel of the Holy Spirit or from San Esteban Lighthouse. The borough also commands views of the Nalón, above all bearing in mind that one of its main towns, San Esteban de Pravia, originated and grew on one of the banks of this historic river, which offers up so many fine baby eels when it becomes an estuary. San Esteban has a riverside-cum-industrial-cum-Indiano look to it, giving it a unique air and not only in Asturias: its cranes, reminiscent of its coal loading and unloading past, its promenade, noble buildings, staggered layout... Everything in San Esteban is an invite to enchantment and relaxation. Its sister town is the borough capital, Muros de Nalón, likewise a place to spend the summer and relax.

Not to mention that Aguilar Beach is one of the best bathing beaches in Asturias, along with San Esteban's saltwater pools, unique in their kind in the region...
