The El Cabriteru Cheese Factory makes its cheeses following the tradition of the area, using only raw sheep's and goat's milk from its own livestock.

El Cabriteru, located on the outskirts of Arenas de Cabrales, offers a tourist experience aimed at getting to know life in the countryside and the daily workings of a farm. The activity is an approach to the rural world and is particularly suitable for families with children, as, depending on the circumstances, it is possible to interact with animals such as lambs and kids.
After a tour of the farm and the cheese dairy, the visit ends on the terrace next to the Ribeles river with a tasting of the three varieties of signature blue cheese made on the farm, accompanied by homemade cider. The facilities have ample parking and pets are allowed. Advance booking is recommended.
The cheese dairy has an online shop with deliveries throughout mainland Spain by specialised cold transport, with no minimum purchase, and with the possibility of payment by credit card or bank transfer.
