Brown Bear watching in Asturias

To carry out the activity we will meet at a specific point from which we will go to the right place to carry out the activity. This point will depend on the time of year and the activity of the bears in the previous days.

From this point, using our telescopes and binoculars, we will wait for the bear, and apart from trying to get a direct view of the species, we will discuss anecdotes, experiences and curiosities of the brown bear, with the aim of returning home with a better knowledge of what may be the most emblematic species that inhabits our mountains.

Our chosen observation points will always be at a very prudent distance from the animals in order to carry out the activity in complete safety and not cause any kind of impact on nature and the species we are trying to observe.

The brown bear observation areas are Cangas del Narcea and Proaza in spring and Somiedo in summer.
