It is in a wooded area of mainly pine and eucalyptus trees, with impressive views of the coast of Valdés. It has the Chapel of La Trapa, founded in 1930.

Take the N-632 to Canero and at the roundabout join the N-634 towards La Espina. When we reach Brieves we turn off onto the AS-222 towards San Martín de Luiña and after passing Muñás de Abajo we turn off to the left towards Carcedo. We pass the village and continue uphill along an asphalted track that takes us directly to the area.
