Las Llavanderas

Between chestnut and hazelnut trees, flanked to the west by the river Pigüeña and to the east by the path along which the Salmones Arriba route (PR.AS-138) runs.

Next to the area there is a salmon ladder, where, during the spawning season, you can see the salmon jump over the obstacle to go upstream in search of a suitable refuge to spawn. In Las Llavanderas you can enjoy an attractive wooden viewpoint, designed by Pablo Maojo and until a few months ago it had a bronze sculpture of a salmon on a pedestal, the work of Favila.
