It is located 5 km from Gijón, on high ground in the parish of Castiello de Bernueces, with magnificent views of a varied landscape of trees and meadows.

Opened in 1958, it is the oldest golf club in the Principality of Asturias. On 19th October 1998, it received the distinction of adding the royal title to its original name, Castiello Royal Golf Club, enabling it to include the Crown in its official shield since that date.

It is an iconic field of medium difficulty nestled in a setting boasting extensive apple orchards. The course has 18 holes and is extremely pleasant to play thanks to its beautiful and varied natural setting.
