El Peñón

Tapia de Casariego, one of the most beautiful and touristic fishing villages in western Asturias, located in the Navia Historical Park, next to the Eo, Oscos and Terras de Burón Biosphere Reserve.

An ideal place to rest and get to know these lands throughout the year, with special attraction at Easter and in summer, where you can enjoy its beaches, its fishing port, viewpoints, and its nature routes. Just 1 hour by motorway from Oviedo, Gijón and Avilés (40 minutes from Asturias Airport), and only 10 minutes from Galicia (15 minutes from Las Catedrales Beach), this village is in a perfect location to visit and enjoy the area with all five senses.

The house is completely refurbished to the highest standards and divided into four cosy independent flats named after one of the most traditional trades, the baker. They can be rented for days, weekends and weeks.

They are equipped with all the utensils and technology to enjoy short and long stays. The foundations of this project are the dream of Suso and Pepita, bakers by profession, and their four children.

A story of memories in one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Tapia, of hard work and effort to get ahead, of snacks based on bread with butter and sugar, of afternoons of fun with our dog 'El Peñón'... A trade, that of baker, inherited by his children and that requires a lot of care and affection, as much as the illusion that surrounds this project of tourist flats, where I have taken care of all the details to offer, like the artisan bread, the highest quality.
