The Casona follows the typology of the traditional architecture of the area, maintaining the original distribution of two floors in the shape of an "L", with the different rooms; those used for cattle and those used for housing such as La L.lariega. The whole complex revolves around a central cobbled courtyard, with a slate-roofed granary (originally thatched), and a chapel dedicated to the Virgen del Carmen with a polychrome Baroque altarpiece from the first half of the 18th century.
It currently houses the Degaña Municipal Tourist Office, the offices of the Rural Nursery and the temporary exhibition SEPTIMIVS NERVA, organised by the Degaña Town Council in collaboration with the ANTIQVI MORES Historical and Cultural Association.
In the future, it is intended to organise more exhibitions in collaboration with the Cultural Associations of the council.

- Free: residents of the council, children under 6 years old and over 65 years old
