Route

Ḷḷamas - Yanos 6,143

This hiking route links the villages of Ḷḷamas and Yanos along a path that runs along the slopes of the La Zorra mountain range. We start from the village of Ḷḷamas, where we find the Romanesque church of San Juan el Real, declared an Asset of Cultural Interest. It was built in the 13th-14th centuries, although it was founded before this date. The protagonists of this itinerary are the splendid autochthonous forest, which appears on numerous occasions along the route, and the beauty of the "majadas", "brañas" and "caserías" along the way.

We cross the village of Ḷḷamas in an easterly direction and begin a slight ascent along a forest track, which takes us to the sheepfold of La Ḷḷḷaguna. We continue our way up the Quentu Baldumira until we reach the El Praón sheepfold. We continue the ascent, which takes us past Picolaína, and very soon we find ourselves immersed in Les Porqueres mountain, whose mass of trees accompanies us along the way.

We continue until we reach La Forcá and begin to descend continuously, passing the farmhouses of La Casa'l Medio and Muries. Here we come to a crossroads, where we take the one on the left, which takes us directly to Yanos. In a short time we can see the course of the San Isidro river, which we cross over a bridge that leads to the village where our route ends.
