The parish church has a single nave, with a triumphal arch that delimits a wide presbytery, with side rooms. It has a flat chancel, higher than the nave, a chancel on the west and south sides, with a stone bench and a belfry with three openings decorated with pinnacles topped with a ball. The door, at the foot, is lintelled, with a stone frame and small ears.
The most interesting feature of the church is the Baroque altarpiece from the first third of the 18th century, made of carved wood and repainted in bright colours. It has a three-part pew, in the middle of which the tabernacle door opens. The single storey is divided into three sections, delimited by Solomonic columns that are covered with vine leaves and bunches of grapes.
The attic is curved, also topped by a voluminous card. It is presided over by the Virgen de la Velilla, dressed, in which only the visible parts are carved. To her left is an Immaculate Conception, and to the right is the titular image of the church, Saint Bartholomew. In the attic is the image of Saint Dominic.
